How to replace your Oakland ID
    In the event your Oakland ID card is lost or stolen and you wish to replace it follow the
    following steps:
  1. Click the appointment link below to schedule a Zoom online appointment 
           
  2. Present a current proof of address in the City of Oakland from the approved list of acceptable documents. See the REQUIREMENTS page for the complete list. Please make sure your name is listed in the proof of address document. If you are using a proof of address document in the name of your spouse, parent or legal guardian, a legal document establishing the familial relationship is required at time of renewal (marriage certificate, birth certificate, adoption/legal guardianship documents, declaration of domestic partnership)

  3. Pay the replacement fee
    Credit, Prepaid and Debit card payments can be processed during your Zoom appointment. If you are not able to pay with a Credit, Prepaid or Debit card, you can mail in your payment via certified mail. Money Orders only. No cash or personal checks are accepted.

  4. Your replacement Oakland ID card will be mailed to your home address ​

     En caso pierda su Oakland ID o se lo roben y lo quiera reponer siga los siguientes 
​     pasos:
  1. ​Programe un cita en línea por Zoom 

  2. Deberá presentar un comprobante vigente de su domicilio en la ciudad de Oakland del listado de documentos aprobados como prueba de domicilio. Para ver el listado completo de documentos aceptables navegue a la pagina REQUISITOS. Asegurese que su nombre este incluido en su comprobante de domicilio. Si esta utilizando un documento a nombre de su esposa/o, padres o guardian legal, deberá presentar un documento legal que compruebe la relación familiar (certificado de matrimonio, certificado de nacimiento, documentación de adopción o tutela legal, declaración de asociación doméstica)

  3. ​Cancele el costo de reposicion 
    Pagos con tarjeta de crédito, prepago o débito serán procesados durante su cita. Si no le es posible cancelar con tarjeta de crédito, prepago o débito, podra enviar su pago por correo certificado. Solamente se aceptan Money Orders. No se aceptan efectivo o cheques personales

  4. ​ Su Oakland ID será enviado por correo a su dirección domiciliaria
